Welcome to my site... Thank you for visiting my site! I'd like to tell you a little about myself... I have always had a long time love of reading and writing. The first story I ever wrote was in the back of one of my storybooks. I hadn't liked the way the story ended, so I decided to re-write it to make it 'better'. Since then, I always have a pencil and paper, or a journal on hand, just so I can write down my thoughts whenever they bombard me, which is often! I started out by writing poetry, and thanks to the encouragement of a caring teacher, I decided to try my hand at becoming published. I was lucky enough to have several of my poems published in my hometown newspaper. And later, to have many articles published in different newspapers as well. When I got married and started a family, I began to write novels while my beautiful boys napped. I admit that I could probably wallpaper my bathroom with the number of rejections I received on those earlier stories. But I never gave up. I always knew that I wanted to be a writer. That I was meant to be a writer. In 2009 I finally prevailed and sold my first story --a novella--to Whispers Publishing. For taking a chance on me--an unknown writer--I will be forever grateful to them! Soon afterward, I won a writing contest, and then another, which was followed by many sales! My writing career had at long last begun! Listed below are my full length novels that are now released. I am busy working on my third book in my Young Adult series, which I sold to the wonderful publisher Wild Horse Press! My second novel in the series The Diary of Payton Wren, is named Genie and the Sandman. I will have more information regarding its release date soon.
